Our rotational program offers early career occupational therapists the opportunity to gain experience across acute, sub-acute and community settings, receive high quality supervision and regular professional development. You will be welcomed by peers from all over Australia who now call Hobart home and have access to senior occupational therapists and clinical leads to support you as your career progresses.
The service: The Occupational Therapy Service includes over 90 team members consisting of occupational therapists and assistants, play specialists, diversional therapists, carpenters, and administration officers. We work across acute, sub-acute and community settings, including the Royal Hobart Hospital, the largest teaching hospital in Tasmania.

The team: Be part of a dynamic, fast-paced, supported team Work across a multi-disciplinary work environment Focus on ongoing professional and career development Details of Appointment Multiple permanent, full-time or part-time, day worker positions working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or fixed-term full-time, part-time and casual vacancies.
Salary: $71,441 to $107,878 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
Benefits available to eligible candidates: Professional development and accelerated pathways. Excellent leave benefits: 20 days annual leave (pro rata), 20 days personal leave (pro rata), and study assistance leave if eligible. Fitness Passport – You and your family can access 40+ fitness facilities across Tasmania for just $13.95 per week per person, or $25.95 for a family.
