About the RoleAs a Lending Specialist in Private Bank, you'll play a key role in ANZ Private which caters to ANZ's highest net worth individuals and family groups, assisting them to manage, grow and preserve their assets.
We provide our clients with a personalised relationship and holistic solutions tailored to their values, aspirations, needs and concerns and their financial situation.
As a Lending Specialist, your main tasks include undertaking high quality financial analysis and liaising closely with Frontline, Operations, Credit CAD holders and other stakeholders to ensure a timely turnaround of Client requests via preparation of a clear, concise and complete credit application.
Credit applications involve financial analysis of complex corporate structures of company, trusts & individuals as well as deal structuring to support clients personal & investment needs.
This role will also support various lending product initiatives, lending projects and will have inputs into lending team capabilities or upskilling.

Role Type:Permanent, Full time (40 hours/week) What will your day look like?As a Lending Specialist you are accountable for:
Customer – Exceptional Client Experience and Client Satisfaction as it relates to lending needs and solutions on an end to end basisPeople – Seamlessly collaborating and supporting frontline bankers across functions, sponsoring deals through credit risk to ensure the identified risks are mitigated and credits fall within the Bank's risk appetiteProcess / Risk – Execution of all Lending activities are completed in a timely manner, ensuring client satisfaction and a high quality of analysis, management & reporting of Credit, Market, Operational & Compliance key risksReputation – Ensuring best interests of the client and the bank are in line with community expectationsFinancial – Delivery of risk which balances business, customer and regulatory requirementsWhat will you bring?To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
Time management, prioritisation, and ability to work in a high-volume environmentExtensive years of experience within a Banking/Financial services industry and a minimum of couple of years in a lending capacityExperience in evaluating credit lending applications across wholesale & retail clientsExperience in analysing financial informationStakeholder management and influencing skillsGood knowledge of ANZ's systems and processesYou're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
