Position Title: Senior Project Engineer
Location: Port Melbourne VIC 3207
Job Type: Permanent Role
Our MSP client is looking for a Senior Project/Infrastructure Engineer for a permanent position.
The ideal candidate will have strong project experience and be skilled in hands-on infrastructure work.
About the RolePerform a broad range of responsibilities including cloud/infrastructure/solution architecture and design, implementation, pre-sales support and proposal/tender response, ultimately ensuring key projects are delivered on time and within agreed scope.
Key Responsibilities:Act as lead on projects and provide oversight during delivery.Implementation of all solutions and project management of all deliverables.Management of multiple projects, across multiple sites, delivering agreed outcomes within the defined timeframe and budget.Employ continuous process improvement initiatives across all projects.Build and maintain successful internal and external client relationships.Work closely with the Project Team Manager and across all business units to ensure alignment of solutions delivered as per service level agreements.Provide accurate reporting to all stakeholders including risk & issues management, financial management and work in progress status reporting.Assist to achieve set and agreed yearly goals in consultation with Management.Attributes Required:Demonstrated track record of working in a technical role within the IT industry and have a broad technical focus including cloud, server infrastructure, data management, storage, virtualization, security, Office 365.Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships.Ability to engage others through credible communication and presentation.Well-developed written and report writing skills.Strong leadership and project management ability.Ability to show initiative and self-motivation.Advanced computer skills - predominantly in Windows 10, Windows Server, networking, cloud software and high attention to detail and strong analytical skills.Project Management Certification or knowledge of methodology.Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Information Technology is an advantage.Microsoft Azure Fundamentals Certificate.Microsoft 365 and Office 365 Certification and Knowledge is a must.Microsoft Intune/SharePoint implementation experience.Fundamental networking skills.If you wish to apply for this position, please submit your resume by clicking the 'Apply Now' button.
