It's how we grow our business and keep one step ahead of our competitors.About the RoleWe're looking for an experienced and client-orientated Senior Financial Lines Underwriter to join our motivated underwriting team in Sydney for a January 2025 start or earlier if availableThis role will see responsibility for:Development of business opportunities within the Financial Lines segmentManage a profitable Financial Lines portfolioCommunicate DUAL's underwriting appetite to broking partnersDeveloping and maintaining broker relationshipsAnalyse and approve referrals for junior staffContribute to the training and development of underwriting staffIf you are currently a Financial Lines Underwriter who is looking to make their next career move, we would love to hear from you
Your application will be considered.About YouYou'll be a motivated and experienced financial lines insurance professional looking to join our hard-working Underwriting team in Sydney.
You will have a strong understanding of financial lines insurance and be client-oriented.
Design and Construction experience is preferable.The ideal candidate will demonstrate confidence in managing multiple clients including both renewals and new business, be comfortable providing training, mentorship and coaching to fellow staff as well as presenting to external clients.Your communication skills and passion for quality service allow you to effectively build and maintain successful relationships and manage service standards by timely response to broker requests.Salary and BenefitsAt DUAL we value work / life balance, health and wellbeing, family and giving back, which is why our benefits are reflective of this.
