PR and Communications Manager - Hitachi Data Systems The PR and Communication Manager's primary responsibility is to develop effective PR and communication strategies to drive awareness of Hitachi Data Systems and our offerings.
The role supports our vision of creating a better world through social innovation technologies.
These messages will be developed for the A / NZ market in conjunction with local, regional, and global spokespeople and help engage customers, partners, and employees with our brand value.
Key Areas of Ownership and Responsibility External CommunicationsDesign, execute, and evaluate the PR / AR plan with the PR agencyBuild content to enhance share of voice in the ANZ marketDevelop thought leadership articlesDevelop customer references and case studiesEnsure adherence with brand strategy and brand style in all communicationsCustomer and partner eNewslettersWebsite content managementSocial media strategyIdentify platforms and messages to focus on Twitter / FB / LinkedIn / BlogsTraining and development for local teamsInternal CommunicationsMonthly customer newsletterQuarterly ANZ business newsletterDevelop and maintain the management team communications planInternal success storiesInput into surveys for the business and marketing teamRequirements Minimum of 5 years marketing and communications experienceSolid relationships with media, journalists, and analystsAwareness of PR landscape and media processUnderstanding in the IT IndustryFamiliar with CRM and CMS toolsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment which sometimes throws up daily deadlines and maintain meticulous attention to detail and proofreading skillsEffective communication skills, both verbal and writtenStrong inter-departmental relationship skillsHigh degree of commitment and responsibilitySkills in HTML, Java, PhotoShop, Illustrator an advantage but not essentialQueries can be directed to Nick Ashton on
