Study Abroad Adviser

Manage the initial inquiry, admission, enrolment, and ongoing student support over the lifecycle of prospective and current Study Abroad and Exchange students Base Salary $99K + 17% superannuation About the opportunity In this exciting role, you will be responsible for taking the initial student inquiries, right through to admission, enrolment, and ongoing student support throughout the lifecycle of the Exchange and Study Abroad Programs. You may have the opportunity to work on events planning, internal projects, marketing collateral, social planning for exchange students, and some possible international travel early in the new year.
The Study Abroad Adviser is also responsible for advising the following groups on the merits of the Study Abroad and Exchange Programs, admission criteria, and administrative processes: internal academic and administrative staff; external agents and partner institutions; and prospective and current students while revising and improving the information and procedures towards continuous improvement.
About you Demonstrated experience in a student advisory role, with study abroad and exchange experience highly valued Demonstrated experience working on projects such as event planning, marketing and communications related tasks, or process improvement projects in a student support environment Excellent attention to detail in an administrative or project role Passionate about the student experience Work Rights : You must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this employment to apply. Visa sponsorship is not available for this appointment.
Your employment is conditional upon the completion of all role-required pre-employment or background checks in terms satisfactory to the University. Similarly, your ongoing employment is conditional upon the satisfactory maintenance of all relevant clearances and background check requirements. If you do not meet these conditions, the University may take any necessary steps, including the termination of your employment.
