YOUR ROLE IN OUR FUTURE   Research Assistant - Health Services Research 2-years Fixed-Term Full-Time  This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team of Health Services Researchers, Implementation Science specialists and Qualitative and Quantitative statisticians at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre (Peter Mac).
In this role you will be a dynamic, flexible team player and will work across several projects in Health Services Research.
Projects for example, studies that examine healthcare utilisation by patients from underserved populations; developing implementation strategies for a new comprehensive care clinic for patients with multiple myeloma or developing a tool to facilitate equitable scaling up of cancer care.
You will take on responsibility for managing day-to-day activities to progress the work in alignment with key milestones.
The role requires a proactive and highly motivated individual with Health Services Research experience who can establish strong working relationships with multi-disciplinary teams of researchers and clinicians across health services.
Your office will be based at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and there is also some flexibility to work from home as negotiated with your team.

Project Management Work with Senior study managers to deliver key project deliverables in a timely manner.
Balance multiple projects with the Centre for Health Services Research with effective communication across the project participants.
Ensure study management processes are in place to commence study, including preparation of databases, organising study meeting dates/ times, publication/authorship agreement document.
Recruitment of study participants; securing and appropriately recording informed consent; data collection; data analysis Proactive planning/problem identification and escalation of any study issues to ensure timely resolution Preparation of study reports for funders Key Accountabilities (Contd..) 3.
Data collections Coordinate and undertake interviews and focus groups with participants Assist and co/facilitate focus groups Assist with data collection and qualitative data analysis 4.
