The Clinical Nurse Manager will lead, supervise, and support the clinical teams within their portfolio to achieve and maintain quality clinical practice and standards, providing advice, guidance, clinical supervision, and education in support of quality care provision.
Key ResponsibilitiesYou will manage the overall day-to-day operation of Care Services and staff.Meet client needs, achieve cost and volume targets, promote new business, and comply with policy, procedures, and contractual obligations.Lead and monitor clinical practice to ensure the provision of quality clinical care for clients within the community.Be the point of escalation for staff for any clinical issues, ensuring clinical support and supervision to nurses is timely and effective to enable the provision of quality care.In partnership with the Director, develop and maintain clinical strategies, guidelines, and documents to enable Best Care for clients.Support continuous improvement and innovation including evidence-based practice.
This includes recommending and implementing new/changed clinical practice for successful client outcomes.Monitor, evaluate and review clinical practice to ensure standards are met and maintained, processes are efficient, and policies and procedures are reflective of best clinical practice ensuring quality care is delivered.About youThe ideal candidate for this role will meet the following criteria:
Current registration with AHPRA.Demonstrated ability to lead, supervise, manage and support a team.Previous experience in Aged Care essential.An understanding of the Scope of Nursing Practice decision-making to provide effective clinical advice and supervision.A flexible approach together with decision making, negotiation, influencing, and advanced problem-solving skills.Demonstrated understanding of aged, community and health care.Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with an empathetic and flexible approach.Current Australian drivers' licence.BenefitsCompetitive Salary.Up to $18,550 tax-free salary packaging options.Smart tools provided to perform your work.Health Care benefits and wellbeing programs.How to applyPlease attach evidence of any educational qualifications/certificates listed as mandatory.
