Interim CFO role, 6-month contract, circa $300,000 package Private Equity (PE) high growth property opportunity Financial Control led CFO role This dynamic Private Equity backed property business is currently in an exciting growth stage.
Due to an internal development, there is a requirement for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) on an interim basis with a potential for the role to be made permanent at the end of the 6-month term.
Reporting to the CEO and part of the SLT, you will manage a small team and be responsible for all accounting and finance functions.
The role is hands on and requires someone who is happy to be in the detail but also capable of looking at big picture issues.
Key responsibilities of the role includes but not limited to risk, compliance, complex tax structures, management and statutory reporting, FP&A and commercial activities and team management.
You will need to roll up your sleeves and get into the detail, whilst having the ability to take a helicopter view and provide strategic insights.
You will be qualified (CA/CPA) and have had exposure to property or funds management.
A background in PE is ideal but not required.
The ideal candidate must be an expert in financial control and reporting and ideally has a background in commercial and strategic finance.
