We are looking for a seasoned Procurement Leader who will establish and oversee the complete procurement strategy, process and systems across the B&J Business.
Our ideal candidate will foster a collaborative, inclusive environment that is focused on growth and development.

What you will do:
Reporting directly to the People, Procurement & Supply Chain Director, the Head of Procurement is critical in supporting the business to achieve its short- and long-term business goals.
This role will be responsible for building and executing a sustainable sourcing strategy for the B&J business.
This role will be responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery of procurement activities, working closely with suppliers to deliver the most effective outcomes meeting our service, quality and customer needs.
This role has the procurement coordinator reporting into it and will need to ensure day-to-day procurement activities support the B&J business.

This role requires strong stakeholder management & communication skills.
Key responsibilities include:
Safety - You will ensure compliance with B&J Health and Safety policies and procedures and support the B&J safety culture journey.
Quality - You will be a key business partner with our production, R&D and quality teams in ensuring we have the right materials to deliver to customer and support new product development.
Strategy - You will help develop & execute the sustainable sourcing strategy to meet the business's short and long-term goals, ensuring strong supply that appropriately manages supply risks and costs.
Responsible for procuring to B&J strategy and driving value to the business.
You will source, procure and provide competitive procurement options for goods and services.
You will support new initiatives that deliver the best and most cost-effective outcomes for B&J and our customers.
Customer Service - Ensure procurement activities for goods and services meet & exceed the demands of our customers.
Process Improvement - Analyse data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement and adding value to the organisation including cost savings projects.
Report and update procurement metrics and performance to organisation.
What you need to succeed:
Have experience in purchasing in a manufacturing & or commercial environment.
Proven experience negotiating pricing, delivery timeframes and purchasing needs.
You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in M3.
Strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
Proven purchasing and inventory management expertise.
Experience in strategic sourcing across multiple categories.
