Job Description
Bistro Suzette, a delightful French-inspired bistro located in the heart of Brisbane, is seeking a professional and customer-focused Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team.
As a key member of our food and beverage team, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and lead our front-of-house team to success.
Supervise and coordinate all front-of-house operations, including dining room and lounge bar.Train, mentor, and motivate staff to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain high standards of food and beverage service.Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and responsible alcohol service practices.Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and efficiently.Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain menu knowledge and communicate specials to staff and guests.Assist in organising and executing special events and promotions.Stay informed about Brisbane's dining trends and local food regulations.Qualifications
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in food and beverage service, with proven supervisory experience in a luxury hotel.Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team effectively.Excellent customer service skills and a passion for creating memorable dining experiences.Solid understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.Current Food Safety Certification and Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification.Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in cash handling and basic financial reporting.High school diploma or equivalent.Knowledge of French cuisine and wine (preferred).Familiarity with Brisbane's dining scene and local food regulations.Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Additional Information
