Electrical Metering Supervisor

As the Electrical Metering Supervisor, you will supervise our team of smart metering technicians on our newly awarded meter exchange project with Intellihub. This hands-on role will provide leadership and support to our technicians in the field and involve training, auditing, and escalations to achieve zero harm, safe systems of work, quality, and performance objectives. The role will be based predominately in Sydney Metro and surrounding areas including regional NSW, company vehicle provided.
ABOUT YOU Relevant Electrical experience working in a similar role within Metering / Utilities Strong written and verbal communication skills coupled with well-developed interpersonal and leadership capability Demonstrated experience supervising work crews and leading by example Current Electrical License and relevant Metering qualifications Current driver's licence Ability to travel to support and audit technicians in all working areas (includes overnight stays in regional towns) Working collaboratively to ensure compliance to policies, procedures, and work orders Ensure that the environment is safe, and zero harm initiatives are implemented and followed by work crews Highly skilled with technology and programs WHAT WE OFFER Attractive full-time annual salary package with a company vehicle Monday to Friday – 38-hour week (some flexibility) A workplace that focuses on zero harm Highly competitive remuneration package and employee benefits Opportunity for career progression with an industry leader Access to Downer employee benefits Training and development to support your career.
