Sydney IT & Telecomms Business Analyst Join a nationally recognised telecommunications organisation 6-month day-rate contract with view to extend Flexible, hybrid working environment + lovely modern offices Job Overview As a Metrics & Reporting Analyst, you will utilise excel to manage various financial trackers that assist managers with project financing.
You will ensure managers under various portfolios are updating these trackers according to the data and their project deadlines.
Responsibilities Gathers key performance, resource and financial information and generates reports in accordance to stakeholder needs and confirming to agreed standards.
Undertakes related analytical activities on demand and delivers analysis outputs.
Build relationships with various business stakeholders, particularly Finance Business Partners, Project and Program Manager to provide timely reporting, particularly on financial information.
Work autonomously, using discretion in identifying and responding to complex issues and assignments and escalating accordingly Methodically manage workload and hold managers accountable for key deliverables according to set schedules and deadlines Essential Requirements Confidence navigating Microsoft Excel and performing basic queries (advanced skills highly desirable) Experience working in PMO-type environment, managing multiple stakeholders and working autonomously Keen attention to detail e.g.
noticing gaps in entries, data entry errors etc.
Comfortable working autonomously and building relationships with key stakeholders (your stakeholders are your team)
