About the Role Harbour Rocks is seeking an experienced casual Night Auditor to ensure smooth operations and accurate accounting after dark
Reporting to the Front Office Manager, the Night Auditor will oversee the hotel's overnight financial and guest service operations.
Responsibilities include:
Conduct complete and accurate audits of all daily revenue postings, adjusting as necessary to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with accounting standards.Support the front office team by assisting with guest inquiries and providing guidance to other departments when needed.Anticipate and address guest needs to ensure a positive guest journey, providing exceptional service at every interaction.Verify and update reservations details for in-house guests, ensuring room rates, dates of stay, and payment authorizations are recorded accurately.Maintain property safety and security standards throughout the night, ensuring smooth hotel operations.Prepare and distribute essential reports and maintain weekly and monthly hotel statistics for management review.Assist with processing management accounts and reconcile any end-of-day variances in revenue postings.Skills & Experience Previous experience using Opera Cloud or similar PMS.Proven previous experience in a similar role in a similar or larger property.Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills.Excellent grooming and presentation standards.Strong financial and analytical skills with a high level of computer literacy.Have a good knowledge of security and emergency procedures and manage the instigation of these if required to do so.If you're interested in keeping up to date with all available positions at EVT, including cinemas, hotels, and Thredbo, you can sign up for our weekly job alerts at EVT Careers.
