Everlast Automotive is an established and respected automotive workshop in the Canberra region. We cater for all types of scheduled servicing and repairs, as well as auto electrical and AC work in our fully equipped, modern workshop.Fantastic opportunity for a senior mechanic/workshop foreman with a vast knowledge in diagnostics and repair to join our team Working alongside other qualified mechanics, your responsibilities will involve daily job delegations and scheduling to meet deadlines. You will perform all vehicle garage duties including but not limited to diagnostics, servicing, repairs, tyres, wheel alignments, and mentoring our team.Duties include:Carrying out diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on a wide range of vehiclesPerforming wheel alignmentsFace-to-face customer serviceJob scheduling and task delegation to meet deadlinesOther role-related tasksPosition Details:Permanent full-time positionAttractive salaryWorking hours: 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM and Saturday when requiredHighly diverse workshop; mechanical servicing & repairs, auto electrical, air conditioning, radiators, tyres & alignmentsGreat team environmentBusy, fast-paced workshop with the latest tools & equipmentImmediate startSkills & Experience:Full Australian working rightsHold a current manual driver's licenceHave Cert 3 Light Vehicle or Diesel MechanicExperience with all makes & models in diagnostic and repairStrong eye for detailAverage computer skillsMature, punctual & reliableHow do your skills match this job?Sign in and update your profile to get insights.Your application will include the following questions:How many years' experience do you have as a Workshop Manager?Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?Do you have customer service experience?Do you have a current Australian driver's licence?Are you licensed to drive a manual vehicle?How many years' experience do you have as an automotive mechanic?Do you have demonstrated experience diagnosing & repairing mechanical faults?
