Additionally, we are proudly BCorp Certified - a demonstrated commitment to balancing people, planet and profit by meeting the highest global standards of social and environmental performance & legal accountability.We are recruiting for a permanent fulltime Senior Global Marketing Manager, to be ideally located in our ANZ corporate Head Office located in Northgate, Brisbane or alternatively remote given the Global nature of the position.Reporting to the Global Head of Marketing, this key appointment will have a dual role: 1. Setting the global vision and strategy of our Gut Health category, inclusive of innovation, portfolio & communication. 2. Ownership of Global Metagenics Masterbrand, optimize Brand equity including brand positioning, creative platforms, brand architecture, communications & content working in collaboration with regional teams and agencies to ensure consistent execution.To achieve this, our target appointment will communicate and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders within our Global Executive, Marketing, R&D and Supply Chain teams, located throughout Asia Pacific, North America and Europe.Key Responsibilities:Understand the global natural medicines and Vitamins & Supplements market and provide in depth understanding of consumers, competitors, portfolio, productsPartner with cross functional teams to identify growth opportunities, consumer unmet needs, emerging trendsDevelop long-term category vision and strategy, defining priorities and track the performance against sales forecastsPartner with regional teams to drive implementation of the strategy & share best practicesPartner with Consumer Insights to conduct market research to help inform recommendationsUnderstand and clearly define the role of Brand Purpose for the long-term development of the brandsDevelop and recommend investment priorities and phased spending plans against agreed growth objectivesReview performance of the category, own the category P&L - assess performance, risks & opportunities to propose action plans & lead corrective P&L optimization projectsOptimize Brand equity for lead brands within your category including brand positioning, creative platforms & brand architecture working in collaboration with regional teams and agenciesInnovation and Portfolio Management for Global Category:Drive Strategic Portfolio Management that strengthens the base business through package, product and/or claim updatesSet the vision for the category for cross-functional team on innovation & product development projects and work with Global Innovation Managers to bring strong innovation to marketIn partnership with Global Innovation team, define long term innovation strategy & roadmap for the category, stir implementation together with local marketing teams and R&DContribute with Innovation Managers on the launch of innovations including value proposition development & communication toolkit for local countriesMasterbrand:Provide deep understanding of the target audience, competitors, and industry trends, they create and execute strategies that position the brand in the marketMonitor and analyse brand metrics, such as brand equity and customer loyalty, to measure the effectiveness globallyOptimize Brand equity for Masterbrand including brand positioning, creative platforms & brand architecture working in collaboration with regional teams and agenciesSupport consistent global roll out of Masterbrand across positioning, creative execution, brand architecture & packaging to build brand salience with new and existing target audiencesLead the development, execution & socialization of Global Communication toolkits for regional/local transcreationPartner with Global Design team to foster a Global network of creative & content leads for sharing and scaling consistent assets across regionsSkills and Experience:A Bachelor's degree is required, Master's in business or marketing specialization preferred10+ years of progressive experience in marketingExperience leading complex projects, and cross functional teams ideally in Global, Regional & Local positionsAbility to influence and engage stakeholders to bring them on the journeyProject Management skills and demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time and in budgetDemonstrated ability to generate and implement innovative strategies to build business successExternally connected, with an ability to operate with agility to capitalise on trends and deliver innovationAble to work flexibly to meet time zone challenges and attend early morning or late evening meeting as required with global colleaguesAble to travel domestically and globally (1-3 times per year)Prior experience working in a global organization and collaborating with regional groups- highly regardedPharmaceutical or VMS exposure- highly regardedJob Benefits and Perks:Eligible to receive a Company Bonus paid once annuallyHeavily discounted product for yourself and family to purchase, with complimentary product available in the officeAccess to Employee Assistance Program for yourself and familyAccess to Perkbox, an employee benefits and discounts provider of major brands, as well as onsite Yoga, Ping Pong and Art Classes.You will need energy, passion and drive to sharpen your capability with us to mould and shape our pathway to achieve further global commercial success.
