What's on offer?
We wish to complement our existing team with an experienced Senior Project Engineer - Electrical for our Water Projects within our Fulton Hogan Utilities business, focusing on a newly awarded Sydney Water project.
This role is initially based in Alexandria and transitioning to Fairfield once the project begins.

In this role you'll be responsible for:
Fostering effective collaboration and communication with clients, contractors and internal stakeholders to achieve project goals
Overseeing, supervising and co-ordinating technical aspects of the project
Implementing site safety standards and monitoring throughout the construction duration
Monitoring project budgets - initiating and executing work to minimise cost, ensuring they are in line with the forecasted costs to complete
Monitoring and reporting on project progress through weekly look aheads and monthly project schedule updates
Leading, overseeing and maintaining project quality documentation
Leading a team of site and project engineers
Procurement of electrical equipment
Managing commissioning activities for the project
How you'll connect to the role:
Degree level qualification in Engineering (Electrical)
Preferably hands-on experience in Water utilities sectors with exposure to WWTPs and / or Networks, and associated Mechanical and Civil infrastructure
Preferably experience in delivering large brownfield projects in the water or utilities (power / gas) sector
Knowledge of Safety, project financial management, forecasting, procurement, design and contracts management functions

Experience with quality control, construction completion and commissioning
