Maintenance Foreman - International Operations With nearly 6,000 employees, the Byrnecut Group is a full-service underground mining contractor, providing services to major mine owners throughout Australia and Internationally.

We are currently seeking applications from experienced Maintenance Foremen to fill vacancies across our portfolio of international sites.

Reporting to the Project Manager , your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Lead and supervise all operations within the site-based Maintenance Department, ensuring seamless execution of all day-to-day activities.
Promote and manage a safe, efficient working environment for all maintenance personnel.
Ensure the highest standards are upheld across all areas of maintenance activities, along with ensuring compliance to the company maintenance policy.
Drive performance to consistently meet equipment availability and operational targets.
Oversee daily activities and workflow, ensuring timely and effective completion of tasks.
Effectively manage department resources, while identifying opportunities for further improvements and cost control initiatives.
Ensure inventory levels of machine spares and stock holdings are well managed and in line with site budget allocations.
The successful applicant will possess the following skills and attributes:
Previous Underground Maintenance Foreman experience essential.
Proven expertise in underground maintenance, with hands-on experience working on a highly modernised underground fleet.
Extensive experience in underground maintenance supervision and management.
The necessary trade qualifications.
Ability to work as part of a high-performing site management team.
Sandvik, Normet and Caterpillar equipment experience.
A strong commitment to safe work practices.
Be self-motivated and willing to liaise and interact with local cultures.
Be able and willing to reside offshore for the rostered period.
