The opportunity: The Project Delivery Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting project and construction delivery requirements across multiple projects. This involves assisting with the management and coordination of these projects in line with Powerlink's policies and procedures. The coordinator ensures that project execution is effectively planned, coordinated, executed, and managed to maximize safe, efficient, and quality delivery.
A key responsibility is to develop comprehensive Project Management Plans that cover all aspects of project management, including scope, time, and cost management. The coordinator also assists in developing project proposal documentation and estimates as required by the Project Sponsor. Additionally, they help develop contract specifications, conduct tender evaluations, and administer contracts with external design, construction, and testing contractors.
The coordinator supports the project delivery team by developing delivery strategies, identifying key delivery risks, and implementing mitigation strategies during both the planning and execution phases.
In terms of construction, the coordinator develops a construction delivery strategy, identifies key construction risks, and implements mitigation strategies during the construction planning and execution phases. They periodically attend sites to assist with the delivery of construction and commissioning works.
The people you'll join: Based in Brisbane, you will join our Major Customers Group within the Delivery & Technical Solutions Division, reporting directly to the Team Leader Major Customers.
