As an ASX top 100 company, Qube has the size to provide an impressive array of integrated logistics solutions, backed up by a national network of 28 capital city and regional port and transport facilities across Australia.ABOUT THE ROLEThe primary purpose of the Multi-Combination (MC) Truck Driver is to safely and efficiently operate MC trucks as used by Qube as part of its operations. Local and Linehaul transport operations to be completed.Specific ResponsibilitiesEfficient operation of the site's vehiclesComplete all necessary associated documentation (such as the preparation and signing of cartage dockets and service requests)Follow appropriate company proceduresInitiate action to prevent the occurrence of deficiencies in the delivery of productTake good care of vehicles/plant under your careEnsure compliance with all Main Roads Heavy vehicle operating guidelinesEnsure compliance with fatigue managementEnsure compliance with loading requirements, axle weights, adhering to vehicle specific permitsQualifications and ExperienceMulti-Combination (MC) Driver's licenseAppropriate license class for any other vehicles operatedExperience in driving heavy bulk vehicles and other machinery as used by QubeKnowledge and understanding of applicable Commonwealth/State Safety and Environmental legislation and standards, Main Road Heavy vehicle legislation and permitting standardsAbility to work autonomously using a proactive approach to task resolutionAbility to work well within a small team environmentGood driving skills for heavy haulage trucksGood skills in operating other equipment used by QubeSound communication skills (both written and verbal)Customer focused and responsive to customer requirementsPerformance and task drivenIntegrityGood time managementWhy QUBE?At Qube, we recognise that our people are our most important asset and are the engine that drives our organisation, playing a vital role in ensuring our business achieves our objectives and delivers on our commitments.
