About the roleWe are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team at Sydney Exercise Medicine in the western Sydney area on a contract basis.
As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality services to our diverse client base (including NDIS participants, Medicare patients, aged care clients and Workcover patients), helping them regain their independence and improve their quality of life.
What you'll be doing Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' functional abilities and rehabilitation needsDevelop and implement individualised treatment plans to address clients' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needsDeliver mobile-based OT services in western suburbs and surrounding areasDeliver clinic-based OT services at our Castle Hill and Girraween LocationProvide a range of occupational therapy interventions, including but not limited to, functional capacity assessments, activity adaptation, and assistive technology recommendationsCollaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic and coordinated approach to client careDocument client progress and update treatment plans accordinglyParticipate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of our rehabilitation servicesESSENTIAL CRITERIA: Degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)New graduates welcomeWWCCPolice check or NDIS worker check or willing to get oneFirst aid/CPR or willing to completeDrivers licenceYour OWN ABN numberYour own personal and public liability insuranceAbility to work independently and as part of a teamCommitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based, and client-centred careWhat we offerAt Sydney Exercise Medicine, we are dedicated to creating a supportive and inclusive work environment that values our employees' wellbeing and professional development.
