What you can expectThe Technical Solution Specialist provides technical solutions and expert advice and ensures that technical and operational risks are evaluated and taken into account when providing those solutions to customers.
The Technical Solution Specialist, as part of the project triangle (time, cost, and scope of work), focuses on the scope of work and the related quality.
Responsible for:
Engineering and evaluation of technical solutions in terms of design and operating conditionsTechnical and operational advice to ROSEN Business Units and/or end customersProviding the scope of the services that meet both client needs and ROSEN's capabilities, in line with the sales strategy, results-drivenIdentifying cost-effective solutionsProviding technical, product, and business knowledge to support the sales process and strengthen customer relationshipsEnsuring that exposure to technical and operational risks is minimizedClarifying tender, scope of work, and contract requirements related to ROSEN's Product and Services portfolio and to technical and operational know-how to perform the works considering resources capabilityFinding and discussing additional scope and efforts with operational processes where required and suggesting upgrades or additional features to meet customer requirementsSupporting project budget draftProviding/supporting technical and operational risk assessmentSupporting proposal and contract specific documentation related to technical and operational aspects as well as 3rd party services and/or equipmentSupporting the execution of the services during all stages of the project with technical and operational expertise and adviceDetermining correct products and services needed to fulfill the projectSupporting contract review prior to formalizationWhat you will bringRequirements:
Ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement specific solutionsAbility to create technical concepts and solutions with the application of the ROSEN service and technical portfolioAbility to promote the solution and to communicate effectively with all stakeholders in the project, including end clientsAbility to understand differing beliefs and show alternative options (active listening), being aware of others' reactions and understanding their perspectives.Mentoring, training, and guidance skillsAbility to transfer knowledge, clearly communicate details to others, and guide Juniors and ProfessionalsVerifiable expertise in performing and executing scope of work according to the ROSEN service and technical portfolioGood understanding of ROSEN's business objectivesTechnical solution orientation and good technical understandingAbility to be enthusiastic, energized, and self-motivated for daily tasks and committed to work on siteAbility to adjust actions in relation to others' actionsWhat we offerThe function enables you to become part of the team of ROSEN Asia Pacific, an organization that serves the Oil and Gas industry with state-of-the-art technologies.
