With operations which cover destinations in Europe, the Americas and Africa and a track record of consistent sales growth in the Australian region, it couldn't be a better time to become part of the team.The RoleThis is an opportunity for a highly motivated, service-oriented Account Manager with strong commercial acumen to make a significant contribution to the airline during a critical period of expansion. In return the successful applicant will be joining a fun, supportive and collaborative commercial team dedicated to high performance and collective success. They will also become part of an international organisation which is truly passionate about what it does. Spanish language skills are a mandatory requirement of this role.Working in a flexible hybrid arrangement, the new account manager will have commercial responsibility for a dedicated national portfolio of travel agents including independent, franchise and enterprise clients.Responsibilities will include:Grow, develop and support portfolio clients in line with regional sales strategyAnalyse weekly and monthly sales data to inform commercial strategyDesign tailored travel agent sales initiatives to maximise portfolio performanceProactively gather and utilise market intelligence to identify trends and business opportunitiesNegotiate formal commercial agreements with preferred partnersConduct regular account management meetings with key travel agency accountsDevelop and deliver presentations and training sessions for agentsNetwork at in-person events to promote the airline brand and destinationTravel domestically and internationally as required to maintain personal knowledge base of products and destinationsThe Successful candidate:To be successful in this role the following attributes are considered essential:Proven experience in a commercial account management role, managing a portfolio of clientsAbility to communicate fluently in SpanishHighly competent in the use of data analytics to inform sales, business development strategyExperience with sales budgets and planning as part of monthly performance indicatorsAvailability to travel interstate and overseasIntermediate MS OfficeA background within the travel sector will be highly regarded.If you believe you could thrive in this position, and you meet the described requirements, we look forward to hearing from youApplication process: Affirmative Recruitment is Australia's only social enterprise recruitment agency working exclusively with candidates with disability.
