Our recent merger with George and Matilda allows us to leverage the combined expertise of a diverse practice community and strong supplier relationships, delivering the very best in patient care and creating exciting opportunities for career development.We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Casual Optical Dispenser to join our growing team, working across our Sydney CBD and St Leonards practices.Job DescriptionAbout the roleProvide friendly and efficient reception serviceAssist patients in the selection of optical frames taking into account lifestyle and physical needsRecommend use of ancillary products (e.g. contact lens care products).Support other team members in the achievement of practice goals and objectives including processing Medicare, health fund payments, credits/warranties, entering stock, jobs due report, debtor's management and stocktakesMaintain a high level of housekeeping in the practice including overall presentation and cleanlinessLearning and development opportunities tailored to your goalsGreat discounts across frames and lenses including family and friendsEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Pirkz and bonus ProgramsNo late nights or weekendsDesired Skills and ExperienceAbout youEffective communication and customer service skills both in person and over the phoneTeam focused alongside independent workStrong organisational skills and ability to problem solveMust be available Tuesday and ThursdaysExperience in the optical industry is preferred, however for those eager to take on a new career we are willing to developWith no weekend work or late nights, this casual role brings work-life balance to life.If you're committed to learning something new, have a passion to help others, and want to enjoy the ride along the way, we want to hear from youPlease click the apply button now or email your resume to ******.
