Estimator Division: De Martin & GaspariniDepartment: DE MARTIN & GASPARINIWork type: Fixed term - full timeLocation: SydneyYour Next OpportunityOpportunities exist for two Estimators to join our Operations team based at Chullora. One role offered is a full-time, permanent role and the other a 14-month parental leave contract. Reporting to the Sales Manager, these critical roles are focused on supporting tender submissions for a diverse range of projects.Your Day Will Involve:Entering and updating projects into estimate databaseUnpacking tender invitations – reviewing tender conditions, briefs, scopes, specifications and other documentationPerforming take-offs and measuring quantitiesPreparing unit rates and pricing estimatesNegotiating tenders with clientsHanding over tenders to production teamAssisting production team with follow up queries during execution of projectsAssisting with take-offs for large variationsWhat Are We Looking For?Tertiary qualifications in a Quantity Surveying, Building or Engineering discipline or Certificate IV in Building Construction.Experience as an Estimator or Project Engineer.Site or concrete structure experience beneficial.Ability to work independently and prioritise competing deadlines.High standard of customer focus.What's On Offer?Permanent, full-time opportunityAccess to SkillBuild, an online Learning & Development platform where you can access training resources for your personal and professional growthAccess to a variety of support networks including Boral Employee Assistance ProgramWork for a values-based business that shares goals and celebrates individual and team successWork for an Equal Opportunity Employer – At Boral, we understand that diversity brings many benefits, and we are increasingly encouraging greater diversity within our workplacesWe are Australian-owned and operated.Application Closing Date:28 Aug 2024
