About the Role Zenith own, operate, and maintain remote power stations and we are looking to expand our existing maintenance team with suitably qualified mechanical tradespersons to work in the Northern Territory.
What you'll do: We are seeking applications from qualified Mechanical Tradespersons to be Power Station Operator - Maintainers on our remote Tanami mining site - Brisbane Point of Hire.
The role of Maintainer Mechanic works on equipment from OEMs such as Wartsila, Jenbacher, MTU and Cummins.
If you have experience on any of these OEM's, we would like to hear from you The roster cycle for this role is 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off FIFO from Brisbane. Working within a small team and servicing remote sites, this position has the responsibility of executing planned and unplanned mechanical maintenance tasks on the equipment within Zenith's power stations.
The role is responsible for ensuring maintenance tasks are carried out to the highest quality standards to ensure equipment reliability.
Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Execution of planned maintenance activities, unscheduled maintenance on power generation equipment and associated ancillary equipment.Maintain and update service records.Exhibit the highest commitment to Zenith's HSE and environmental policies.Take an active role in always ensuring an incident-free workplace.Act as a relief Power Station operator as and when required.About You As the Power Station Operator / Maintainer, you will have the following experience, knowledge, and skills to bring to the role:
Experience 3 years' experience in a Mechanical trade.Heavy industry or power generation experience in a maintenance role is desirable.Experience in engine rebuilds, diagnosis and troubleshooting.Remote site or FIFO experience is desirable.Tradesperson level ERP experience (Pronto, Ellipse, SAP) is desirable.Skills/Ability Ability to work unsupervised.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Good mechanical aptitude.Ability to use Microsoft Office products.Qualifications & Clearances Mechanical Trade Certificate.First Aid certificate.Ability to pass a National Police Clearance and Pre-employment Medical.Right to work in Australia.Why Zenith You will work for a market leader with strong projected growth and a company that values and celebrates their people.
