Manager Risk Reporting and Data AnalysisBendigo and Adelaide Bank Sydney, AustraliaAbout the opportunityThe Risk and Compliance (R&C) function (1LoD) has responsibility for enabling the Business to manage the risks associated with their respective area of focus in line with the Group's risk appetite. In that support, the R&C function will enable the success of the business by instilling a culture of risk management as a core part of how we support our customers and ensure that we have the appropriate processes and practices to meet our compliance obligations.We have a new opportunity as the Manager, Risk Reporting and Data Analysis. Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will have a key role in developing and maintaining risk reporting, and delivering insightful analysis.Utilising your excellent analytical skills and ability to communicate complex information clearly you will get to:Collaborate with stakeholders from cross functional teams including Group Risk, the Group Data Office, and IT to gather data in support of business objectivesAnalyse highly varied datasets to identify trends and emerging risks to support business decisionsDevelop engaging, accurate and timely risk reports using data tools (primarily Power BI) and ensure they are tailored to the needs of the stakeholdersOngoing evaluation and monitoring of risk reporting processes and tools to improve efficiencies and support the identification and implementation of best-practice analytics and reportingContribute to the professional development of the Risk & Compliance AnalystWhat you'll bring to the roleTo be successful in the role you will have:Tertiary qualifications in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics or related fieldsExperience in data analysis and reporting with proficiency in data analysis tools including Excel, Microsoft Power BI, Python, R and SQLExperience in the banking and financial services desirable but not essentialExcellent communication and report writing skills with the ability to communicate complex information with a range of stakeholdersStrong interpersonal skills with the ability influence, engage and collaborate with a variety of stakeholdersExcellent problem solving and time management skill with an adaptable and flexible dispositionSo, why work with us?You'll also get access to a great range of benefits, including:Looking for hybrid work, flexible hours, or a compressed week?
