Linkforce is a leading integrated maintenance, engineering, and project services delivery business.
Founded in 2007, Linkforce started with a small crew of shutdown specialists and a single utility operating in the Pilbara.
Our group has now grown to an operational workforce of over 3,000 personnel with an extensive fleet of modern vehicles and equipment that operate nationwide.
The Linkforce Communications division specialises in the maintenance, construction, installation and commissioning of communications towers and wireless telecommunication equipment.
Due to ongoing growth, we are currently seeking experienced communications riggers to join the company.
Alternatively, we will also consider construction trade personnel with transferable experience, who are looking for a new challenge and would like to build a career in the telecommunications industry.
THE ROLE As a Communications Rigger, you will be responsible for supporting the construction and maintenance of communication towers.
Operating from our Welshpool workshop, you will be involved in assembling equipment before transporting and installing it at various sites.
These sites can be located in both the Perth metropolitan area and regional locations.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Completing all As-built, Hand-Over documents, and detailed Design / Construction PacksPerforming rigging and dogging works for various size cranes and loadsUnderground conduit installation, concrete works, and foundation excavationInstalling, maintaining, and repairing external telecommunications equipmentInstalling, maintaining, and upgrading of telecommunications headframes and tower steelworkConstruction of telecommunications structuresABOUT YOU We are seeking candidates with sound rigging experience, ideally with exposure to the communications industry.
Alternatively, we will consider those with relevant trades experience looking to switch industries.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate: Confident and comfortable working at heightsRigger with a WorkSafe High-Risk Work Licence - RB, RI or RAConstruction White CardAustralian Drivers Licence C ClassWork at Heights CertificateConstruction trade backgrounds, such as Plumbers, Carpenters, Roof Plumbers and Glaziers is advantageousIN RETURN This is a fantastic opportunity to build a career in the telecommunications industry and join the dynamic Linkforce Communications Team as we embark on an exciting phase of growth.
