Band Saw

Position Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced Band Saw and Aluminium Saw Operator for an ongoing role based near Blacktown.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated individual looking to showcase their skills and grow within a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities: Operate and maintain band saws and aluminium saws with precision.
Cutting a variety of shapes and sizes of aluminium and wood as specified by written instructions.
Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Execute cold saw cutting and nesting of parts, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Assist with general fabrication and workshop duties, including cutting, drilling , punching, folding and grinding various metals.
Ensure accurate cutting and quality control of materials.
Operate a forklift ( counterbalance)  load and unload trucks as required.
Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
Requirements: Proven experience operating band saws and aluminium saws.
Experience in steel and aluminium fabrication.
Strong understanding of technical drawings and measurements.
Ability to perform quality control checks.
Forklift licence is preferred  Experience with routine maintenance and repairs of saw equipment.
