About the Opportunity: Are you an experienced Data Developer with a strong background in Power BI? This role offers the chance to make a real impact by enhancing a growing Power BI environment. You will be responsible for improving their data reporting systems by implementing governance processes, strengthening data security, and delivering effective dashboards.
This role involves hands-on work with Power BI, geofencing, and fabric environments, allowing you to refactor the current system to better support business needs. You'll have the opportunity to provide recommendations for integrating new data features while working closely with the business to shape their data infrastructure.
About You: We are looking for a Data Developer with at least 3 years of Power BI experience who can take ownership of their work. You'll need to be able to collaborate effectively with subject matter experts to translate business requirements into functional reports and dashboards. Familiarity with data security and governance processes is key, and experience with Microsoft Fabric is an advantage.
You should have:
3+ years of experience with Power BI. Ability to follow best practices for data visualisation and reporting. Experience working with stakeholders to translate business needs into reporting solutions. Strong communication skills to collaborate with business users. Exposure to Azure, Databricks, CI/CD, and DevOps is a bonus. Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric (nice to have). Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement Power BI reports. Refactor the existing data environment to align with business goals. Establish governance processes for data consumption and reporting. Provide recommendations for integrating new data features like geofencing. Work closely with the business to ensure proper data security.
