Liberty Oil Australia have a proud history of truly independent fuel retail and fuel distribution in Australia.
We operate a regional network of fuel depots and distribute hundreds of millions of litres of fuel a year, making Liberty one of the largest wholesalers operating nationally.
Today, we are offering a great opportunity for a fuel tanker driver to join our team based in Mackay, QLD.
Job DescriptionDue to current growth, we are recruiting for a fuel delivery driver to join the Liberty team, based in Mackay.
As a fuel tanker Driver, your responsibilities will be to safely deliver fuel products from local depots into a mix of regional Liberty customers.
This is a great opportunity to join a professional diverse fuel-based business, where your skills and experiences will be highly regarded.
Work will include an interesting mix of: Farm/Industrial deliveries (Long hose)Retail and Marine deliveriesRoster: Primary roster will be Monday to Friday with the occasional Saturday and occasional 24/7 roster work to fill the gaps.
Vehicle: Primary Single trailer with some limited B Double work.
We are looking for drivers who can: Work unsupervisedMaintain a neat appearanceExhibit meticulous attention to detailDemonstrate a genuine commitment to safetyDeliver high levels of customer serviceEngage in any necessary training including inductionsIn return, we offer well-maintained vehicles and equipment, a supportive and friendly team, and a competitive salary. QualificationsMinimum 5 years' heavy vehicle driving experienceMulti combination (MC) licence is essentialRoad Train experience highly regarded but not essentialA dangerous Goods licence is highly advantageous but not essentialPrevious experience transporting fuel and lubricants highly advantageous, but not essentialAbility to load and deliver fuel in compliance with Dangerous Goods ActDemonstrated commitment to safety and health practicesExcellent customer service and communication skillsAdditional InformationSuccessful candidates will need to satisfy our pre-employment checks including drug and alcohol screening, medical checks, driver history report, and reference checks.
