Data Engineer, Acceleration

Design and build Google Cloud Platform solutions in Marketing Analytics, Data Analytics, and Machine Learning specialisations.
Deliver engineering projects, including setting up data pipelines, data warehouses, cloud infrastructure, and integrations.
Work closely with colleagues and clients to understand business needs and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) to support continuous delivery and deployment.
Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud-based systems and applications.
Participate in the development of technical documentation and project plans.
Work with cross-functional teams, including architects and project managers, to ensure successful delivery of projects.
Identify and implement best practices for cloud security, reliability, and performance.
Continuously improve your skills and stay up to date with industry trends and best practices.
ResponsibilitiesDesign and build Google Cloud Platform solutions in the Marketing Analytics, Data Analytics, and Machine Learning specialisationsDeliver engineering projects, including setting up data pipelines, data warehouses, cloud infrastructure, and integrationsWork closely with colleagues and clients to understand business needs and translate business requirements into technical solutionsDevelop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) to support continuous delivery and deploymentDesign, implement, and maintain scalable cloud-based systems and applicationsParticipate in the development of technical documentation and project plansWork with cross-functional teams, including architects and project managers, to ensure successful delivery of projectsIdentify and implement best practices for cloud security, reliability, and performanceContinuously improve your skills and stay up to date with industry trends and best practicesMinimum QualificationsCandidates will have at least 4+ years' experience delivering data engineering solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
We are looking for individuals who are self-starters, with a positive and forward-thinking mindset, ready for a fast-paced environment where they will face various tasks.
Google Cloud Certification (in order of preference: Professional Data Engineer, Professional ML Engineer, Professional Cloud Architect)4+ years of professional experience in designing and building Google Cloud Platform solutions in the Marketing Analytics, Data Analytics, and Machine Learning realmExperience developing solutions in Python (Apache Airflow, Apache Beam) and SQLExperience with GCP tools including BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Run & Cloud Functions, and Cloud ComposerThorough knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices including Terraform and GitHub ActionsUnderstanding of networking, security, and performance optimization in a cloud environmentKnowledge of digital marketing and advertising concepts and toolsStrong problem-solving and communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentPreferred QualificationsGoogle Cloud Certification (in order of preference: Professional Data Engineer, Professional ML Engineer, Professional Cloud Architect)Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field#J-18808-Ljbffr
