Someone with:
Previous experience in a similar role within the civil construction industry Proven background in the programming of complex construction projects Strong verbal and written communication skills A high level of organisation and time management skills Excellent attention to detail The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Able to demonstrate working knowledge of Primavera, Microsoft Project and Advanced Excel skills Commercial experience with variations and claims for delay Exposure to earned value management and reporting Experience in resource loading and man hour collation Experience in the use of 4D Planning desirable, but not essential Ability to write routine reports, basis of program reports, identify program risks and correspondence Ability to problem solve and research innovative ways to reduce costs through efficient programming What you'll do (but not limited to): Review construction drawings and specifications to develop a strong understanding of the project scope, task durations and project deadlines Liaise with management to determine the sequencing required to complete the project scope Support the project team in identifying opportunities to reduce time, advise of any risks against key milestones, and provide assurance on achieving the key dates Provide early warning notices to project team on delays and the likely effects of delays Prepare engaging weekly and monthly reporting including Earned Value metrics using SPI (Schedule Performance Index), CPI (Cost Performance Index) and SV (Schedule Variance) analysis Identifying ways of optimising the program through detailed analysis to develop terminal float to mitigate any liquated damages and delay impacts Ensure that a reliable and credible overall project program incorporating design, approvals, procurement, off site fabrication and delivery, construction, testing and commissioning is developed and achieves the completion objectives of the Project Prepare accompanied basis of schedule documentation for client review and approval to establish baseline program assumptions Ensure that credible Earned Values are produced for the monthly progress updates Review all subcontractors and suppliers' programs to ensure that the subcontractor's full scope is covered and that their programs align with the baseline program requirements Prepare resource and manning analysis to be included in cost estimate and assumptions Develop time-phase budget in line with the delivery model and how productivity is planned through the different phases of the project Our best offer: Competitive salary package plus site allowance and retention bonus (full time option) Growing business with career development opportunities Paid parental leave and flexible work arrangements available Friendly and supportive work environment The opportunity to work with a diverse and engaged group of people Georgiou is committed to an inclusive workforce and welcomes applications from candidates from culturally diverse backgrounds, people with disabilities, people who identify as LGBTIQ+ and people of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander descent.
