About the Role As the Research Associate, you will undertake research as part of projects related to Healthy Ageing and Primary care, including the co-design of an integrated model for coordinated primary care for people with disability following trauma injuries, under the direction of the Chief Investigator.
Contributing to ethical, high quality and innovative research and evaluation through activities such as scholarship, quality publication, external grant acquisition and presentations that aligns with the CFI's areas of research strength and focus, the Research Associate also assists principal supervisors with supervision of postgraduate students, as appropriate.
Establishing and maintaining collaborations, the Research Associate also contributes to the planning and execution of research by offering new ideas, reviewing relevant literature and other sources of information, actively participating in the production of data and attending seminars, meetings and conferences.
Please note: Some out of hours work (including weekends) as well as rural SA, interstate and overseas travel, may be required.

About You To be successful in this role, you will have completed or show substantial progress towards a Ph.D. in health services research or, at minimum, completed an allied health degree or equivalent qualification and have subsequent relevant experience in the field of community or primary health care or a relevant discipline area.
As an emerging researcher, you will have experience in qualitative or mixed methods research methodology.
Along with your exemplary written and oral communication skills within an academic environment, you will also display:
Demonstrated ability to undertake collaborative research and establish and maintain effective relationships with staff and industry.
Proven experience delivering project targets on time.
Experience in using evidence and research data to support decision making.
The ability and willingness to undertake collaborative research and establish and maintain effective relationships with staff and industry.
You will be required to show sensitivity regarding the collection of data, ensuring your approach is always person-centric and respectful.
