Beyond work, you can enjoy a vibrant local community with parks, cafés, and restaurants, providing the perfect balance between a dynamic career and a fulfilling personal life.What you'll be doingThe Finance team plays a vital role in supporting teams throughout the LHD by assisting with budget planning, managing financial performance, meeting statutory and ministerial reporting obligations, overseeing procurement, contract management, and handling patient revenue functions.Additionally, Finance collaborates closely with key stakeholders across the district to plan and optimise resource allocation and effective usage, aiming to deliver improved outcomes for the communities we serve.This role is responsible for overseeing and facilitating SESLHD's Salary Packaging activities.
Key responsibilities include managing and maintaining the relationship with the external salary packaging provider, ensuring clear and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, preparing and analysing relevant reports, and monitoring performance to optimise salary packaging services.
Additionally, the role involves identifying opportunities for improvement, addressing employee queries, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and contributing to initiatives that enhance the overall employee benefits experience.Benefits:Up to 12 allocated days off each year (for full-time employees) in addition to annual leave.Salary packaging options that reduce your taxable income and increase your take-home pay
