Health Information Release Officer

As a Health Information Release Officer, you'll process Release of Information (ROI) requests, ensure compliance with privacy laws, analyze healthcare records, and communicate effectively with stakeholders to meet deadlines.

Delivers primary, secondary, and tertiary care to residents of Auburn, Blacktown, The Hills Shire, Holroyd, and Parramatta Local Government Areas (LGAs).

What you'll be doing
Join the Health Information Release Team at Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD), where as a Health Information Release Officer (HIR) you will play a vital role in processing Release of Information (ROI) requests efficiently and accurately.
Process all ROI requests from various stakeholders, including legal and medical entities.
Ensure compliance with NSW Health Records & Information Privacy Act and WSLHD guidelines.
Communicate effectively with staff and third parties to meet response deadlines.
Maintain accurate records and provide monthly statistics on workload and compliance.
Adapt to dynamic workflows and provide coverage across WSLHD sites as needed.
Working 8.30am - 4pm Monday, Wednesday, Friday or Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
