The Business With significant investor backing, this Australian owned business is growing rapidly and filling a gap in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
Based in Melbourne with additional manufacturing & distribution facilities coming online, the organisation, its founder, and investors have a stellar track record building highly successful pharmaceutical businesses underpinned by industry leading scientific & clinical expertise, manufacturing excellence, highly attuned customer focus, and an extraordinary track record of developing sophisticated solutions with a centralised, holistic and agile approach.
The Role Reporting to the Board, the CEO role is responsible for developing and delivering the strategic and commercial capability and outcomes of the organisation.
The CEO is also responsible for the overall development of new business, through establishment and maintenance of client and stakeholder relationships, leading the management of key relationships, budget negotiation, and finalisation of service agreements.
This remit is essentially growth, organisational development and will be very hands-on in nature, working closely with a broad range of stakeholders and customers both locally and globally.
With major financial backing, the CEO will also work closely with investors to achieve ambitious revenue and profitability targets whilst ensuring a relentless focus on customer and patient outcomes.
The Person To be considered for this opportunity, the ideal candidate will have a combination of clinical and manufacturing leadership experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry as well as a track record scaling up or growing a successful business with proven P&L experience.
You will be tertiary qualified and possess strong business disciplines ranging from strategy and market development planning, agility in execution, be highly ethical and customer focused, excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of product development, project management and R&D as well as the broader ecosystem around bringing new drugs to market.
