Australian Private Hospitals Association | Theatre Technician

We are seeking Theatre Technicians to work as part of our Theatre Team.
Within this position you will work as a member of the perioperative team by supporting and supervising theatre personnel to prepare the operating theatre environment for procedures.
This is a permanent full-time or part-time opportunity and your duties in this role will include:
Prepping surgical theatres for a variety of different procedures Assisting with the safe transfer of patients on and off the operating table Undertake designated cleaning tasks in accordance with Infection control policies and procedures Assisting in the theatres where required by other clinical staff Maintaining surgical equipment and patient positioning devices Transporting and supporting theatre patients throughout their Perioperative journey.
Your Skills and Experience
To succeed in this role, you will be an enthusiastic individual with a passion for customer service who enjoys being part of a busy team.
You will also bring:
1-year minimum Tech experience within an operating theatre (Essential) Certificate III in Operating Theatre Technician Practice/Health Services Assistant or equivalent (Essential).
Cert IV highly desirable.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills Comfortable working in a diverse, fast paced team The flexibility to work a rotating roster and participate in the on-call roster Understanding of infection control and manual handling procedures Requirements
Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
