Location: Campbelltown, NSW
Hourly Rate: $65 per hour + super
Contract Duration: Immediate start until the end of April
Work Schedule: 4 days per week - Office based, 1-day WFH
Are you an experienced CPA or CA-qualified Senior Accountant looking for your next contract opportunity?
Join a healthcare provider in Campbelltown, where you'll play a critical role in supporting financial operations within a dedicated and collaborative small team.

The Role
You will take ownership of key accounting functions and ensure the accuracy and efficiency of financial processes.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Preparing monthly management reports, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
Assisting with the preparation of statutory financial statements and ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
Overseeing month-end and year-end processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
Managing accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Preparing BAS, GST, and other tax compliance reports.
Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, providing actionable financial insights.
Liaising with auditors during interim and final audits.
Assisting with process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need:
CPA or CA qualification (mandatory).
Proven experience in a similar Senior Accounting role, ideally within the healthcare or service industry.
Strong technical skills in financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to work autonomously in a small team.
Availability to start immediately and commit until the end of April 2025.
