Position Overview: The Department of Health is seeking interest for a permanent full-time Safety Learning System - Statewide Manager to join the Clinical Quality, Regulation & Accreditation team in Hobart.
The Role:
Enhance clinical care, quality, and safety through the implementation and improvement of the Department of Health's risk, policy, and compliance systems.
Develop strategies and plans, manage resources, and lead a team to deliver specialist services and expert advice to stakeholders.
Design, implement, and evaluate innovative solutions that align with the Department's strategic directions and promote continuous improvement.
As a senior member of the Office of the Chief Risk Officer, you will collaborate with stakeholders to deliver accurate, reliable, and targeted business outcomes that meet national standards and focus on learning and statewide system improvement.
Details of Appointment: This is a permanent full-time day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
Hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Note: This selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full-time and part-time vacancies for a period of twelve months from the date of publication.
Salary: $139,470 - $148,863 per annum, with an 11.5% superannuation contribution on top of this amount.
Benefits: 20 days annual leave (pro rata), 20 days personal leave (pro rata), and study assistance leave if eligible.
Fitness Passport – access to 40+ fitness facilities across Tasmania for just $13.95 per week per person, or $25.95 for a family.
Desirable Criteria: Relevant tertiary and/or professional qualifications.
