Our Claims Specialists are responsible for having telephone and online based conversations with our members when they need us most.We offer attractive working hours which is structured as follows:Week 1 – 7.30am – 3.30pm (West Perth Office based)Week 2 – 9.00am – 5.00pm (Working from home)Opportunities can be made available on a Permanent basis or on a Max Term 12 month Contract/Secondment.On a daily basis you will be contributing by:Managing an individual caseload of claims through to finalisationIdentifying potential recovery action as part of effective claims managementReviewing quotes and authorising repair costsNegotiating on settlements for claimsActing as a technical referral point for internal teamsProviding empathy and understanding whilst handling complex conversationsConsistently providing service that exceeds members' expectationsIdentifying continuous improvement initiativesWhat are we looking for?Exceptional customer service skills and a high attention to detailExcellent communication and strong negotiation skillsAbility to gather, collate and present evidence and make informed decisionsAbility to clearly communicate complex processes and decisions to our membersResults oriented mindsetSelf-driven and motivated with the ability to work autonomouslyExperience in claims lodgement and knowledge of end-to-end claims process desirablePrevious experience working within the financial services industry desirableWhat we can offer you:A workplace culture where our people feel valued, respected and empoweredWork in flexible ways that meet work/life commitments and support wellbeingBe part of a purpose-led organisation that gives back to the WA communityAn environment that values ongoing career developmentFree Roadside Assistance and discounts on RAC products and services including Insurance, Holiday Parks and Resorts, Security, Finance and Auto ServicesOpportunities for community engagement and corporate volunteeringPlease note: We encourage you to apply as soon as possible, as RAC reserves the right to close this vacancy without notice.#J-18808-Ljbffr
