This job offer is not available in your country.Job no : FMNC4 Category : Supply Chain & Procurement, ElectriciansJoin an organisation that offers market leading trusted brands and productsWork from 6am 2pm PLUS 2 x RDO's per monthPrivate health insurance extras cover that includes up to $1000 out of pocket costsAbout the roleWe're looking for a Maintenance Electrician to join our Maintenance Team responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in environments classified as hazardous due to the presence of flammable gases, vapours or dust at our site in Padstow.This role requires a deep understanding of safety regulations, specialised equipment, and industry best practices to ensure the safe operation of electrical systems in high-risk areas.Reporting to the Maintenance Manager and working within a small team of 4 asset care staff, you'll have the ownership and support you need to succeed in your role and the opportunity to make a significant impact to operations of our manufacturing facilities.The role requires flexibility with working hours (from 6am-2pm) including some work on Saturdays (ad hoc basis).
To be considered for this role you must have knowledge and experience of the Australian Hazardous Area Standards - AS-NZS 60079 and compliance requirements.ResponsibilitiesDiagnosing, addressing and repairing electrical breakdownsConducting periodic and preventative maintenance activitiesEvaluate equipment performance and identify opportunities for improvementCommunicate with suppliers and contractors for purchase of parts, services and equipmentDebugging PLC logic and troubleshooting electrical / electronic controls and circuitsInstall, repair and test electrical and electronic systemsSkills & ExperiencePrevious experience as an Electrician in an industrial environment including hazardous areasA-grade Electrical licence with Certificate IV in Hazardous AreasConfined space and working at heights and EWP licencesMEX software and Microsoft Excel experienceStrong written and verbal communication skillsWhy DuluxGroup?As a member of our team, you'll unleash your potential, grow, achieve and thrive with us.We offer a fast-paced work environment that values collaboration, rewards high-performance, and inspires innovation.But it's not just about the work - it's also about the people.At DuluxGroup, we foster a culture of inclusion, diversity, and flexibility.
