The VHBA ExperienceThe Victorian Health Building Authority (VHBA) is responsible for the rollout of the Victorian Government's multi-billion-dollar health capital projects. We're delivering world-class health facilities across Victoria including new public hospitals and emergency care, community health services, ambulance branches, residential aged care, and mental health facilities. VHBA also provides technical support across engineering, property, asset management, and environmental sustainability disciplines. During early 2024, we became a Project Office within the Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority (VIDA), joining sister projects including the Metro Tunnel Project, Level Crossing Removal Project, West Gate Tunnel Project, and Major Road Projects Victoria led by Director-General, Kevin Devlin.Work for an organisation that promotes:Career growthCompetitive compensationFlexible working arrangementsInfluence decision making on front-end construction and infrastructure projectsThe OpportunityThe Planner and Scheduler will be responsible for the development of project programs, the provision of high-level program advice, and for the monitoring of progress of various Projects within the Victorian Health Building Authority. Working with the project teams and also with the Planning Manager, the Planner and Scheduler ensures completeness, accuracy, and clarity of programs, the identification of critical works, and the timely communication of program status and any delays and issues arising, along with mitigation strategies. The Planner and Scheduler will work within a high performing team and have the opportunity to develop skills to assist career development and progression prospects.We are looking for:Strong knowledge and experience with planning and programming all scope elements, disciplines, and phases of building projectsExperience with developing Time Chainage Diagrams, staging diagrams, PowerBI, and other visual communication tools to supplement detailed construction programsAbility to work collaboratively with project teams and to develop constructive relationships with multiple stakeholdersExtensive experience in the planning, programming, and reporting on all work elements, disciplines, and phases of major social infrastructure deliveryHow to ApplyTo be considered, please apply online and attach your summary cover letter and CV.
