Company carPeter Vardy Ltd is a young, innovative, and fast-paced, family-run company, leading the revolution to create a future full of ambitious and determined individuals within the automotive industry.We have a rare opportunity for an experienced Parts Manager to join our award-winning Porsche Centre in Perth, which opened its doors in April 2018, making it the youngest Porsche Centre in Scotland.As a Parts Manager, you will take ownership of the parts department and be responsible for driving sales, managing the parts team, and fulfilling customer needs.What you will doManage the day-to-day running of the department and set clear targets, monitor team performance, and provide regular updates through individual 1-2-1's. Formulate and implement action plans to increase parts sales and control costs, ensuring the department is fully compliant with Porsche and Peter Vardy parts procedures.Minimise aged stock profile in line with company policy.Ensure all cash received is secured and accounted for.Select parts as required for trade and workshop technicians and ensure they are booked out accordingly.Check all deliveries received against all paperwork and log/sort any discrepancies, booking parts in and out of stock and storing them in their correct locations.Label and package all warranty returns adhering to company and manufacturer policy and procedure.Maintain agreed KPI's by stocking and selling the correct/maximum amount of parts to trade and retail customers.Carry out audited stock checks in line with PVL policies and procedures (including but not limited to perpetual stock checks).Meet manufacturers' purchase targets or purchase targets advised by PVL in line with the parts business plan.Achieve Parts department targets through reviewing weekly/monthly accounts, operating controls, and composite figures.What you will needExperience working as a Parts Manager with an automotive brand is essential.Be confident and enthusiastic.Ability to work as part of a team and develop strong working relationships.What's in it for youNet Better Off is our Benefits and Reward programme designed to support our colleagues in four core wellbeing areas: Mental, Physical, Community, and Financial - it's the Peter Vardy difference30 days holiday, rising with length of service.World-class manufacturer training.Employee discounts & lease car options through the 'PV Cares' scheme.Company car.Generous Colleague Referral Scheme.Pension & Life Assurance.Enhanced maternity & paternity leave.Access to the PV Wellbeing Centre – MOT & in-house counselling services.Colleague events - Family Fun Day, Annual ball, Christmas party - yes we like to have funIf you would love to be part of our Peter Vardy family, please APPLY now with an up-to-date copy of your CV.
