Joining us is a chance to make your mark, working with a diverse team that is united in pushing the boundaries of imagination and excellence.We currently employ more than 2,500 people across 14 sites in Australia and three international locations and have a range of opportunities available as we plan for future growth.The opportunityWe are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated entry-level Shipping & Receiving Specialist who will support the business head office located in Brisbane City.The Entry Level Shipping and Receiving Specialist will gain in-depth knowledge and experience in all aspects of receiving and distributing in support of the BDA Supply Chain Management (SCM) team.
This will involve receipt, dispatch support activities.
Successful applicants need to possess a desire to learn all aspects of material management, booking freight and the use of plant and manual handling equipment and using all inventory management systems and tools.Responsibilities:All aspects of receipt, storage, handling, packaging, shipping and issuing of goods at the head office facility;Processing orders on the Inventory Management System (Oracle);Support additional project activities as required;Management and control of suspicious consignments;Action quarantine and disposal requirements in accordance with Boeing policy and procedures.Experience/Qualifications:Desire to learn or grow your knowledge of, and gain experience in, supply support roles and functions;Desire to gain in-depth knowledge and experience in all computerised inventory management systems and methodologies, utilised in BDA;Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of applications is desirable or willing to learn.Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements.Culture:We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
