Equipment/Machine Operator

The Company Our client is an Australian manufacturer of steel wire welded mesh for industries such as mining, construction, fabrication, safety, storage, temporary fencing and material handling.
Due to the increase in demand and company growth, they are looking for a morning shift machine operator with steel/metal background to join their team in Glendenning.
Benefits An excellent organisational culture that prioritises the well-being of its employees Career progression opportunities Full time working hours on morning shift Plenty of overtime View to go permanent with the company after 4 months Work directly for the company Immediate start On-site parking available Ongoing training and development opportunites Shift times available: Morning shift - 4am - 12pm Monday to Friday Must be available for training from 10am - 6pm at least 2 weeks Duties and responsibilities: Ensure all products are manufactured to specification and quality guidelines Completion of quality control and production records and administration Ensure pre-start checklists are completed Collect and segregate scrap, trim and other materials as required Adhere to company WHS and environmental policies Use of forklift to load and unload stock of plant, equipment and vehicles Daily use of overhead cranes to load and unload trucks Manual handling duties but no heavy lifting Skills and Requirements: Proven experience working in a similar steel/metal manufacturing environment Must have current forklift license and experience operating forklift Crane license would be advantageous but not essential as training is provided Strong commitment to work with the right attitude Ability to conduct manual handling duties Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong commitment to following WHS protocols and participation Effective communication and teamwork ability Must be willing to conduct pre-employment and drug & alcohol test prior to start If this position sounds like you then hit APPLY now, alternatively email Shareen Kumar on ******
