Admin Clerk - Chep Control and InventoryAPG Workforce is currently seeking an Admin Clerk to manage Chep Control and Inventory for our client based in a distribution setting.
This role offers hours from 9 am to 5 pm, Tuesday to Friday, starting through the agency with the opportunity to transition to permanency.
The position pays $36.90 per hour.
Key Responsibilities: Coordinate daily run allocations by liaising with contractors/drivers to adjust drop sequences.Finalize and communicate next-day run sheets with contractors/drivers once orders are confirmed.Print orders for the afternoon shift to assist supervisors/leading hands in assigning tasks.Reconcile Chep accounts for tubs, bins, and pallets.Communicate with supervisors/leading hands during order picking to ensure FIFO is adhered to and prevent errors.Conduct Chain of Responsibility (CoR) driver checks for all incoming/outgoing trucks.Update and amend orders in the system (training provided).Complete orders and prepare load-out paperwork promptly once picking/scanning/loading is finished.Monitor order picking status and ensure completion within expected timeframes.Maintain accurate records of all documents related to loads, including load plans, journey route plans, temperature records, Chep documents, and transfer in/out documentation.Utilize Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) to create reports as required.Demonstrate strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.About You: Experience in administration, particularly in a logistics or distribution setting, is advantageous.Adequate knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel) to create and manage reports.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication skills.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team with room for growth and development.
