In this role, you'll provide expert advice on No Go Zone restrictions and safety around powerlines, ensuring all related works are coordinated, compliant with Zinfra Group's policies, and meet client requirements.
This role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to work collaboratively within a team, and excellent communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders.Key Responsibilities include:Provide Electrical Assets Regulation advice to third parties involved in the construction of foot bridges, roads, buildings, etc., and the installation of water/gas mains, Telco, and other utility infrastructure.Issuing "Permits to Work" (PTW) to third parties working near power lines as required.Creation of job packs for field crews, customers to include all required drawings, permit to work, procedures, and relevant documentation.Explain breaches of regulations to external party industry representatives in a professional but sympathetic manner, and assist in rectification of said breaches.Assist with scheduling high voltage and low voltage shutdowns where required, within customer timeframes.Identify and analyse areas for improvement relating to business systems, processes, and workflows as well as the implications of implementing system changes.About YouThe successful applicant will have a genuine passion for the electrical industry and for developing a detailed understanding of electrical assets, No Go Zone policies, procedures, and activities as they relate to electricity distribution assets and ideally hold a Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician or Certificate III in ESI Power Systems.Exercise judgement in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to resolve complex issues in a creative and effective manner.Ability to meet company objectives for the agreed work through the application of approved governance.Demonstrated experience working with stakeholders.Strong leadership and teamwork skills, with the ability to foster collaboration and achieve shared goals.Well organised with the ability to work under pressure.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Current Australian Driver's Licence; White/Red/Blue (OHS construction induction card).We are a champion of equal opportunity employment and have committed to targets for gender equity and first nations representation in our workforce.
