Position SummaryJoin our dynamic team as a Senior Electrical Engineer, where you'll leverage your extensive expertise to drive major mining projects to success. With over 7 years of experience, ideally within an EPCM/ESP environment, you'll play a pivotal role in evaluating and recommending cutting-edge electrical equipment solutions. Your proficiency in designing and specifying mining systems, including HV Powerline distribution, VSDs, and Switchboards, will be crucial. You'll produce and review comprehensive engineering documentation, ensuring precision in electrical designs and technical drawings. Your ability to review and modify design documentation, such as schematics and layouts, will be essential in maintaining project integrity. About the RoleCarry out technical evaluations and recommend appropriate electrical equipment solutions for major mining projects.Design and create specifications for mining systems across HV Powerline distribution, HV VSDs, HV Switchboards, Transformers, MCCs, instrumentation and controls.Produce and review engineering documentation, including electrical designs, technical drawings, and scope of works.Review and modify design documentation, such as schematics, single line diagrams, and layouts.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met efficiently and effectively.Utilise problem-solving skills to address technical challenges and optimise engineering solutions.About the CandidateBachelor of Electrical Engineering recognised by Engineers Australia.Over 7 years of relevant experience, ideally within an EPCM/ESP setting.Extensive experience in mining process plant operations, including MCC, VSD, Motors, and Cables.Proven ability to carry out technical evaluations and recommend appropriate electrical equipment solutions for major mining projects.Expertise in designing and creating specifications for mining systems across HV Powerline distribution, HV VSDs, HV Switchboards, Transformers, MCCs, instrumentation, and controls.Skilled in producing and reviewing engineering documentation, including electrical designs, technical drawings, and scope of works.Experience in reviewing and modifying design documentation such as schematics, single line diagrams, and layouts.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Effective project management capabilities.Excellent technical evaluation skills.Benefits and PerksFlexible / remote working arrangementsWellness initiatives including yoga, pilates, run clubs, HIIT and moreFamily oriented and culturally inclusive leave policiesEmployee assistance programsInclusive culture including gender balance advocates, LGBTQ+ employee network and Neurodiversity Working GroupHow to ApplyAt Inverse Group we are dedicated to creating and improving diverse and inclusive environments within the workforce.
