Position: Systems Engineer (Level 2/3)
Location: Canberra
Employment Type: Full time
We currently have a position available for a Systems Engineer (Level 2/3) to be based in Canberra.
This is a key position on the team for a major project(s) that is delivering real capability to Government Agencies.
The successful candidate will join a team in a very busy and dynamic engineering environment.
The opportunity to work on challenging and rewarding Defence and Government projects needs candidates with experience in the full engineering lifecycle.
The role is critical to the end user's ability to meet current and future needs.
The Role: Enforce design, system and specifications as requiredPlan, document and execute Verification and Validation activitiesLiaise with stakeholdersIdentify project and product risks and escalate using defined processesInitiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channelsExperience Required: A degree in Electronics or Electrical EngineeringC4ISR/C2/RADAR systemsA track record in ASDEFCONTraceable history in Systems EngineeringExtensive experience in specialised engineering test techniquesStrong V&V experienceEnd to end Design experienceA high level of technical expertise and the application of that knowledgeStrong communications skillsMust have a current NV1 Security ClearanceApplication Process: APPLY NOW - Our client is looking to interview immediately.
Ideally, the successful applicant will have experience with Systems Engineering tools and knowledge of Systems Engineering Standards.
Candidates will be expected to respond to CDRLS as needed.
Candidates with qualifications in Engineering/Science and previous experience working with large complex systems should apply.
